American Cocker Spaniel
It is widely accepted that the Cocker Spaniels originated in Spain and the American Cocker Spaniel is no exception. Cocker spaniels were orignally bred to be used by bird hunters for locating, but not harming them.
The American Cocker Spaniel is different from others because it was bred to be another weight and size and its head is a different shape.
