Bull terriers
The bull terrier has an appearance that can be only be qualified as “unique”. This remarkable look has given the bull terrier a few funny roles in movies. Hollywood has usually chosen the white bull terrier with the trademark black patch over the eye. But colored bull terriers are also acceptable according to the breed standard.
Nature: First bred as a fighting dog, bull terriers remain a rugged little dog to this day . The bull terrier descends from a mix between the old British bulldog and a terrier. Despite their somewhat ferocious facial qualities, and tough background, bull terriers actually have a great character. Any personality problems with bull terriers can be worked out with proper training, which will leave bull terrier owners with a very trustworthy dog. The short flat coat of the bull terrier makes for easy grooming.
Misinformation: Bull terriers are sometimes confused with pit bulls. Probably the most famous mix up in the 1996 movie “Babe: Pig in the City” where a bull terrier was name “P.B.”, implying “Pit bull”. The initials were confirmed as the full name in the closing credits.
