Siberian Husky

It is not always the case with dog breed names, the Siberian Husky is truly from the Siberian region of northeast Asia. More specifically, the Siberian Husky breed is credited to the indigenous Chukchi people of Russia who developed Huskies as sled dogs. Wider recognition of the wonderful qualities of the Siberian Husky came in the early 20th century Alaska. Again in America, the Siberian Husky was first used as a sled dog, which was the only means of transportation in the Arctic at the time. But dog sledding was also a sport, and the Siberian Husky shined as a winner of many races and gaining much prestige for the dog itself and their owners.

Stubborn dogs don't make od team players, so this in itself is testament to the wonderful temperament of Siberian Husky. Intelligent with great stamina, the Siberian Husky lives to serve. It was bred as a working dog, so the Siberian Husky still needs a lot of exercise today. Therefore, the Siberian Husky is not well suited to confined spaces.
